Broadcast Partner

Antenna Foundation Nepal (AFN) partners with Nepal's independent FM radio to broadcast the radio programs of AFN. It has covered almost all part of the country through partner radio network. Currently, there are five major radio programs that AFN has been producing and broadcasting via FM partners' frequency.

Bikash Ko Bato, a weekly radio magazine on local development, governance and access to rural road for rural settlement has been broadcasting from 17 FM stations of 9 districts of Mid and Far western Nepal.

Likewise, Mai Sari Sunakhari, is a radio soap opera produced by ANF, together with Population Media Center (PMC) is broadcasting through 80 plus radio station covering almost all part of Nepal. Radio Nepal, Ujjyalo Radio Network, Community Information Center (CIN-ACORAB), Kantipur FM are major broadcast partner of Mai Sari Sunakhari.

Sunakhari Bahas, a live call-in-show is also a weekly production of AFN and is being broadcasted by 80 plus radio station throughout the country.

Moreover, Hilkor, a radio soap opera in Maithili language has been broadcasting via number of radio stations covering central Terai region of Nepal where Maithili speaking communities live.

Nepal Chautari is a live call in show on contemporary program. Nepal Choutari is being produced by AFN by its own and has been broadcasting through 30 plus FM station every week. The Nepal Choutari invites thematic sectoral experts on contemporary political and social issues in its studio and allows guest and listeners interaction via toll free telephone number. The show has been the longest radio live talk show on contemporary issues.
